In this portfolio, we proudly present a special project: the transformation of a classic Blue Venetian Mirror into a delicate, customized version in soft baby pink. This unique Custom Venetian Mirror was crafted based on our client’s vision, while preserving the original artistic details that make Venetian mirrors so highly coveted.
Our client was initially drawn to one of our Blue Venetian Mirror designs, renowned for its intricate detailing—graceful leaf scrolls, floral motifs, and decorative glass bubbles embedded within the colored mirror sections. However, to better match the soft and feminine theme of their interior, the client requested the color be transformed into a soothing baby pink, resulting in a beautiful Pastel Venetian Mirror with an air of elegance and grace.

The requested size for the final piece was 140 x 80 cm, a versatile dimension that qualifies as a Large Venetian Mirror. It is substantial enough to serve as a visual centerpiece while remaining adaptable for use in various spaces like bedrooms, foyers, powder rooms, or elegant dressing areas.
For the mirror itself, we used high-grade Venetian Mirror Glass with a thickness of 5mm. This ensures a crystal-clear reflection and structural durability. The pink hue was carefully applied using a specialized technique that maintains the transparency and shimmer of the mirror, avoiding any dull or opaque finishes.
The structural frame was made from 18mm thick plywood, finished in matte black, offering a bold contrast to the soft pink mirror. This not only enhances the visual balance but also guarantees long-term stability and strength.
All of the original artistic elements from the French Venetian Mirror design were preserved in this custom version. The entire frame showcases handcrafted carvings of leaf scrolls and floral patterns, a hallmark of the Aesthetic Venetian Mirror tradition.
One of the standout features is the incorporation of bubble glass details—small circular glass accents that shimmer when catching the light, adding an extra layer of visual interest and uniqueness to the piece.
At the top of the mirror sits a striking decorative crown, commonly referred to as a Rossete venetian mirror. This crest-like adornment, resembling a delicate flower or tiara, was created using silver mirror with 1cm beveling, crafted with intricate leaf scrolls and bubble patterns. The reflective crown complements the pink frame beautifully, providing a regal finish to the overall design.
The entire mirror frame features beveled edges with a dotted texture, maintaining the rintik or water drop motif (fine dotted bevel) that was prominent in the original design. This careful detailing was achieved through precise hand-cutting techniques, ensuring consistency and refinement across the entire frame. The result is a Huge Venetian Mirror that is not only beautiful but also tells a story of craftsmanship and customization.
Pink Venetian Mirror
This project was a true collaboration between our design team, master mirror artisans, and the client. From the initial concept to final production, we worked closely to ensure every element—from pink shade selection to crown shape and bevel width—was approved by the client. The soft pink coloration was achieved using a layered tinting process that enhances the mirror’s brightness while maintaining its natural reflectivity.
